Teeth Whitening(Bleach)
Bleaching
is one of the most common procedures of dental cosmetics. It brightens
teeth that are discolored, stained ,or have been darkened because of
injury of drinking habits. Any tooth, even those that have had root canal
surgery, can receive bleaching treatment. This can be done by a dentist
in the dental clinic or at home.
There are two types of tooth stains:
Intrinsic Stains (Internal stains): This means the stain occurs from with in the tooth. This type of Staincannot be removed by brushing flossing and sometime bleaching may not be effective. Some causes of intrinsic staining are injury to the tooth, certain medications (such as tetracycline) taken during tooth formation stage or an excess fluoride ingested during the formation of teeth.
EXTINSIC STAINS (Extemal Stains): This is staining of the tooth surface. Some sources of extrinsic stains are cigarettes, chgars, paan masala, coffee, tea, or foods that contain a lot of spices. This type of staining can sometime be removed by good tooth brushing habits or by professional oral prophylaxis (scaling).
Occasionally people experience temporary discomfort during the bleaching treatment, such as sensitivity. These Symptoms are transient & disappear with in one of three days after complection of the treatment. It is important that the manufacture's direction are followed precisely. Overall, tooth bleaching under professional supervision is an affective method for whitening the teeth.

In- house / in-surgery Tooth whitening
We offer the most advanced technique of teeth whitenning (Bleaching) providing you with clean white teeth in just one sitiing.
In- house or In-surgery tooth whitening is as the name says. The treatment is carried out in a clinic rather than at home.
The benefits of this treatment include a noticeable improvement in your teeth in a short span of time. Bleaching treatment leads to whitening of the teeth that are yellow , pale or have been discolored due to mony reasons. In fact, many patients report quite dramatic results after the treatment.
This procedure is carried out in a single session and is a follows:
The dentist will record the current state of your teeth either by taking a digital photograph i.e. before treatment pictures.
protection of gums is important ;therefore we cover them with a protective gel or cotton material the protect them from any splashes of bleach. Eyes are protected from the laser beam or bleach by wearing goggles.
Your dentist will then apply a whitening gel to your teeth. This gel contains a high concentration of peroxide which helps to bleach the teeth white.
Then a small handheld light or laser is used which emits beam into your teeth and so stimultats the bleaching process. This has the effect of speeding the process up. This process can take up to an hour.
Once this is done the dentist will wash of the whitening gel before reviewing the final result. This involves taking a photograph i.e. after treatment pictures.
In surgery Teeth whitening costs more then a home teeth whitening kit but it is quicker and the result are mmediate. Some patients opt to have a home kit combined with a deep bleaching session at a dental clinic. Any treatment under specialistguidance is the best.
One difference between this and a home kit that a bleaching agent used is much stronger in the clinical treatment. An in -house whitening gel contains a higher lavel of peroxide concentrate then the home based ones . As a result of this, tooth whitening is some thing which should be carried at under dental supervision.
In -house tooth whitening uses hydrogen peroxide whereas a home tooth whitening kit will use carbamide peroxide.
